2nd attempt at posting pictures for the Thursday post August 3.  Finally, it worked (I think).

Finally the view I've been waiting for.  Worth the 2400 mile drive!! Lake Almanor, CA

And family!! Mark, Kaia, Jeana, Teagan, Carol, Iri at The Pipkin's cabin by the lake.  It is soooo good to see them.  And Iri got to see a Sugar Pine tree. Didn't get a picture but will so those who don't know what I'm referring to can see.

It's overcast today and a little hazy from smoke. But the temp is great so far. We are at the Best Western Rose Quartz Inn in Chester.  I had a complimentary breakfast.  Was good. Iri wasn't ready to eat yet.

This is Mt. Lassen. This is a file photo because yesterday it was so hazy we could hardly see it.  Hope to get a picture today.  The lake is full!!  Unusual for this time of year.  The rains last winter and good snow pack have helped to keep it full.
